a tutorial for this icon:



-get your base, duplicate once, and set to soft light, merge down. You should have something like this:

-new layer, exclusion, 46, dark green:

now, all the gradiesnt I'm using are by crumblingwalls

copy the base and paste on top of everything, set to soft light.

now I wrote a huge "&" georgia, 60pt, soft light and placed it where I wanted. now you should have something like this:


I liked it a lot, but there was something missing.. so I added a light texture by teh_indy

set to screen and now you have this:


PLEASE do not copy this tutorial exactly, just use the tips, use different gradients and modes, different opacities, that's what makes it such fun:)
